I spent so much time searching for happiness outside of myself. I thought that if I had the perfect job or relationship then I’d be happy. Or if I had more money or the latest gadget then I’d be happy. But happiness that comes from external sources isn’t lasting. Stop chasing happiness! Go within! When you find happiness from within, no matter what is going on in the world around you, then you’re truly happy. Then all of those external things are the icing and sprinkles on the cake!
I had the chance to go out this weekend and see some good friends in a local production. I’ve been growing my hair out. I’m definitely feeling this look!
I have not done a video like this in a very long time. I figured it was time to drop by and give y’all a life update and what I’m wanting to do moving forward.
I was fortunate to have an amazing mom, although she left this life far too soon. My mom was my best friend and my biggest cheerleader. She did everything she could to make every holiday and big life even special. She was beautiful, sensitive, and so full of love.
What a beautiful night. Sitting in my happy place, snuggling with my best girl enjoying the cool spring air, enjoying my patriotic holiday tree lights and being serenaded by a chorus of tree frogs. I love simple, peaceful, quiet evenings like this! An evening like this is the best way to release the energy of the day and practice some quiet self-care. Empath approved!
As an empath it is so hard to watch others struggle…particularly if we care about them. We can feel their pain and want to do what we can to help them overcome their struggle and pain.
It’s hard to believe that May is already here! It’s time for warm spring nights, fireflies, flowers, garden fresh foods and more. But May can also be chaotic as the school year moves towards its end. It’s an important month for self-care, so be sure to find time in the midst of all of your busy days to take care of yourself!
It’s so important to get out of your head and go within!
It’s hard to believe May is almost here! The weather is warming up and it’s the perfect time to try and get some time in nature. The beach is one of my favorite places to connect with nature. As a sensitive, being in water can be a powerful way to soothe an overactive nervous system. Getting my toes in the sand, spending time in the water and filling up on my vitamin D always make me feel so much better? What is your favorite way to connect with nature?
